M.W.-What year did you graduate?

J.M.-Graduated Skyline High School 2012, Laney 2014 and Uni Of Hawaii 2016.

M.W-What is your favorite song?

J.M.-Hail Mary by Tupac, Just something about that song that makes me feel I can do anything.

M.W.-What is your favorite food?

J.M.-Pasta & Steak.

M.W.-Who do you look up to?

J.M.-I look up to my mom because she raised me, she is a very strong black woman and my queen.

M.W.-What do you do when you're not on the field?

J.M.-When I'm not on the field or in the weight room I'm usually spending time with my family or close friends. I'm a pretty chill dude

M.W.-What other sports do you like?

J.M.-Track & Basketball.

M.W.-If you weren't an athlete what would you be doing?

J.M.-If I wasn't an athlete I'll be in school going for my masters right about now.

M.W.-What do you do to get ready for games?

J.M.-Honestly I don't do anything special or have a certain routine. I usually just listen to music to get in the zone.

M.W.-Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?

J.M.-Five years from now I can see myself owning my own house, car and starting a family possibly.

M.W.-What's one of your most memorable moments?

J.M.-One of my most memorable moments is when I received my first offer from the university of Missouri on my 19th birthday.

M.W.-What’s the difference between Oakland and Hawaii?

J.M.-In my eyes the two cities are very different. Oakland is more of a fast pace City a lot more is going on. Hawaii is relaxing and chill, the people are more welcoming, coming from Oakland and living on an island for school took me a while to adjust to just because I wasn't use to the island life which is a real chill vibe. Spending 2 1/2 years in Hawaii really made me appreciate life and my city.
